Easter Weekend at Keat Farm Parks

A Celebration of Community and Joy

The Easter weekend may now be behind us, but the memories created across Keat Farm Parks are still bringing smiles to our faces. From laughter-filled activities to heartwarming moments shared between guests and teams, it was a truly special few days that perfectly captured the spirit of our parks.

At Quex Holiday Park, one unforgettable moment stood out above all: a 99-year-old guest sitting at the crafting table, proudly wearing bunny ears while colouring in an Easter egg. It was a beautiful reminder that the joy of Easter has no age limit. Alongside this, games like “Splat the Carrot” brought plenty of laughter, as children (and a few determined adults) tried their best to master the challenge.

Hawthorn Farm enjoyed a lively and creative weekend, with a successful Easter egg hunt where every hidden treat was discovered – helped along by plenty of enthusiastic (and very competitive!) mums and dads. The “Guess the Sweets” game saw holiday homeowner Marion take the win, with an impressively close guess, while the crafting table buzzed with colourful designs and happy participants. Guests also embraced a range of fun activities, including Easter pong and a bean bag throw through the Easter bunny’s belly, which brought lots of laughter throughout the park. A new addition this year, the best dressed pitch competition, alongside beautifully decorated caravans, motorhomes and tents, showcased the incredible creativity of our touring community, adding even more personality and charm to the weekend.

Over at Little Satmar, the weekend took on a quieter, more tranquil tone due to the cooler weather, but it was no less special. Regular guests described their stay as a “perfect escape,” enjoying the peaceful surroundings and catching up with friends. With just two young participants, the activities became even more personal and memorable. Ava came closest in the sweets guessing game, while Rae proudly won a pair of bunny prizes.

Homing Park brought energy and excitement, with many enthusiastic participants in the “Guess the Sweets” game – one guest coming impressively close to the correct answer. The Easter egg hunt was a big success, with every child taking part and receiving a prize. One particularly funny highlight involved a guest volunteering for a “Splat Dan” challenge, resulting in a perfectly aimed (and very wet!) sponge to the face – a moment that had everyone laughing.

Across all parks, guests embraced the Easter spirit in their own unique ways. Our hand-painted photo frame proved especially popular, with many families stopping to capture their special moments. We’ll be sharing some of these snapshots soon, along with glimpses of beautifully decorated caravans and tents – and even a few fantastic Easter outfits. The creativity and enthusiasm of our touring community truly brought the parks to life.

Most importantly, the weekend was also an opportunity to give back. Together, across all parks, we proudly supported Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex, with guests and teams contributing to a meaningful cause while enjoying the celebrations. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated and helped make a difference through their kindness and generosity.

From peaceful escapes to playful competitions, this Easter weekend was a wonderful reflection of what makes Keat Farm Parks so special: a friendly atmosphere, shared experiences, and a genuine sense of community.
