What’s On in Kent This June

June is one of the best times to explore Kent, with longer days, warmer weather, and plenty to see and do across the county.

Coastal towns such as Whitstable, Broadstairs, Deal, and Folkestone come alive during the summer months, offering beaches, independent shops, cafés, and waterfront attractions.

Nature lovers can enjoy the Kent Downs, Blean Woods, Samphire Hoe, and the White Cliffs of Dover, where walking conditions are ideal and wildflowers are in bloom.

There are also some fantastic local events to look forward to this month. Visitors may enjoy a Comedy Night in Dover or step back in time at the Medieval Festival taking place in Sandwich on 13th and 14th June. Folkestone’s Bandstand Concerts are also underway, offering free live music by the sea throughout the summer. Highlights this year include ABBA Chique, a Michael Bublé Tribute, a Rolling Stones Tribute Act, a special Pink Floyd Weekend, and performances from a variety of talented local and regional bands.

If you’re looking to discover some of Kent’s hidden gems, consider a visit to the Fleur de Lis Museum in Faversham, Goodnestone Park Gardens, or the Dickens House Museum in Broadstairs.

Whether you’re staying at Hawthorn Farm, Quex Holiday Park, Little Satmar Holiday Park, or Homing Park, June offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the very best of Kent.
