Two of our parks, Applegarth Park in Whitstable and Woodlands Estate near Canterbury, permit one dog per home. Frost Farm we allow 1 pet per home, our other parks do not allow pets. These are part of the individual park rules.
After you have made your choice on the location, you may come and talk to our sales staff at the Head Office, located in Herne Bay, where we will be happy to discuss your requirements in further detail and assist you with the current homes available. If we have new homes for sale, we can arrange viewings and aid you through the whole buying process. However, should you decide on a pre-owned home, we can put you in contact with the current owners and supply all the relevant paperwork, and if needed, we can also assist you through the government paperwork.
To be a full licensed Residential park, it will be open for 12 months of the year and should be used as your main residence. Keat Farm own and operate 5 fully licensed Residential parks in Kent, Applegarth Park, Rowan Tree Park, Keat Farm Close, Woodlands Estate & Hartridge Farm.
Residential park homes are detailed under the Mobile Homes Act and the Written Statement is a document that details the terms and conditions for owning a home and living on a licensed residential park as well as the park owners obligations. It is an important document that should be passed on to each consecutive owner of the home.
Yes, each park has its own set of park rules, these form a part of your agreement when you purchase the home, you will be required to sign a copy at the time of purchase.
Providing paperwork proof can be presented to show that it has been registered as a conversion then this would be acceptable. Any vehicles of a commercial nature without evidence would not be permitted on to the parks.
Our pitches operate from midday to midday, if you have alternative requirements, such as Ferry times, please discuss this with the park, they will accommodate out of hours arrival and departures wherever possible, this may incur an extra charge.
The usual toilet and shower facilities are available, along with washing up areas and laundry machines. There are chemical waste disposal areas as well as grey waste facilities on most parks. If you require certain services please check direct with your park of choice. Quex holiday Park and Hawthorn farm also have accessible facilities.
Yes, we permit one dog per pitch, if you have more please check with the park management in advance of your arrival. Dogs must be exercised off the park grounds and kept on a lead and supervised at all times when on the park.
