Meet the Team: Quex Holiday Park

Set amongst peaceful farmland in the Kent countryside, Quex Holiday Park offers a tranquil escape where guests can slow down and enjoy the beauty of nature. With its quiet atmosphere and green surroundings, it is a place that feels welcoming from the moment you arrive.

At the heart of the park is manager Sarah, who previously worked in the NHS before moving into park life. She plays a key role in welcoming guests and ensuring everything runs smoothly throughout their stay. She works closely alongside Nick, the assistant manager, who has been part of Quex for over 33 years. With a background as a mechanic and farm worker, Nick brings a wealth of experience and is a trusted, familiar face around the park.

Dan joined the team two years ago after a 30-year career in engineering, adding valuable hands-on knowledge to the day-to-day running of the park.

Adam has been with the company for 7 years and looks after the park’s green spaces, always happy to lend a hand wherever needed.

Madi has recently joined the team and has quickly become a friendly and enthusiastic presence, supporting guests and colleagues alike while settling into park life.

For the team at Quex, no two days are ever the same, with their time shared between welcoming guests, handling enquiries, maintaining the grounds, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Their passion for what they do is clear, and it plays a big part in the warm and friendly atmosphere guests experience.

Quex has a long and fascinating history, originally priory land supplying Canterbury Cathedral before becoming a holiday park in the early 1970s. As part of the Keat Farm family, now spanning three generations, it continues to reflect a strong sense of heritage and care.

Today, the park is known for its peaceful setting and abundance of greenery, even home to visiting parakeets. It’s quiet, nature focused environment is something many guests return for year after year, with areas managed to support local wildlife through the David Bellamy conservation scheme.

The park offers around 50 touring pitches with electric hook ups, set amongst trees to create space and privacy. Sally’s Kitchen has also become a popular addition, offering home cooked food to enjoy on site or take away.

Beyond the park, Sarah and Dan enjoy exploring the local area, from the literary charm of Broadstairs to walks along Ramsgate beach. On quieter days, they can often be found browsing local bookshops or enjoying fish and chips by the sea.

With its rich history, natural beauty, and dedicated team, Quex Holiday Park offers a peaceful retreat shaped by the people who care for it, and Sarah and Dan are at the heart of what makes it so special.
